The Strategy & Projects team works with teams across all departments in Grab to drive continuous improvements and lead projects which would contribute to overall growth of the business. The team generates business insights propose data-driven strategic initiatives and lead large projects to grow the business across Mobility Deliveries & Groceries (Jaya Grocer & Everrise).
Get to know the Role: You will play a critical part in building and operationalizing an end-to-end fulfillment and logistics solution. You will set up our fulfillment infrastructure - from identifying suitable facility locations designing warehouse layouts building warehouse process flows and establishing logistics models. We are looking for someone who can:
- Connect the dots independently to move projects forward design scalable operating models from the ground up and is comfortable moving between strategic design and hands-on operational execution.
- Evaluate trade-offs between speed cost and customer promise ensuring operations scale sustainably
- Anticipate operational risks and put in place the right processes and monitoring mechanisms to mitigate them
This is a hands-on role for someone comfortable spending time in the warehouse and on the ground to fine-tune processes and flows. You will shape the operational foundation that enables us to deliver a great customer experience while maintaining cost efficiency and operational excellence.
Scope Includes:
- Setting up an end-to-end warehouse and fulfilment network from scratch. Eg. sourcing warehouse & fulfilment hub locations assessing capacity requirements planning layout design oversee the physical setup enabling warehouse tech requirements.
- Build and standardize core operational processes across inbound receiving putaway replenishment picking QC packing dispatch and returns.
- Source and implement logistics model based on the needs of the business
- Work with multiple teams to build monitoring mechanisms and set operational policies that balance customer experience operational feasibility and financial sustainability.
- Support future scaling of operations by identifying opportunities for automation process redesign and structural improvements
You will report to the Head Loyalty & Digital Retail Strategy
Qualifications :
What Essential Skills You Will Need:
- 710 years of relevant experience in supply chain warehouse management/operations first and last-mile logistics
- Hands-on operator who is comfortable being physically present on-site to test processes diagnose issues and ensure workflows run as intended
- Break complex operational challenges into structured actionable solutions.
- Have experience handling multiple workstreams simultaneously and drive initiatives from planning through to implementation
- Synthesize complex operational needs into clear strategic narratives to secure buy-in from diverse stakeholders
