Work youll do

Deloitte is growing its Strategy Risk and Transaction (SR&T) Valuation & Modeling practice in Southeast Asia. We use advanced modelling and valuation tools to partner with our clients to unlock asset value drive strategic decisions and mitigate risks including acquisition assessments financial reporting dispute resolution and portfolio valuation ensuring accurate valuations for investment portfolios.

You will work alongside our clients to bring a rigorous evidence based analytical capability to help them solve pressing and complex issues. This includes revealing insight and delivering value through pragmatic and actionable recommendations. You will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with our clients to understand the forces that are driving change identifying opportunities and develop solutions across the whole organization.

The nature ofthe work we do includes:

• Participate in client engagements to provide financial advisory services to a diverse client base in various industries.
• Financial Modelling and Analysis
• Analyze financial information financial statements and key operating metrics.
• Assist in developing detailed financial models based on business issues or transactions being analyzed
• Reporting and Communication
• Communicate effectively with engagement management ensuring clear and concise delivery of information.
• Engage with client management during meetings and assist in preparing presentation materials.
• Prepare internal documentation related to client engagements and internal working papers.
• Maintain responsibility for project setup and the updating of engagement files.
• Assist in business development activities such as conducting research to understand the relevant market and industry including the market trends and key players.
• Contribute to practice development activities including participating in training programs and networking opportunities within the firm.

Requirements

• Possesses an undergraduate or masters degree in Accounting Finance or Business from a recognized university with outstanding academic credentials and is complemented by professional qualifications such as CFA CVA ICAEW ACCA FMVA or CFM which are highly regarded.
• Professional certifications such as CVA or CFA are considered an advantage.
• Up to 2 years of relevant experience in business valuation auditing M&A investment banking private equity or equity research.
• Strong financial modelling skills including the ability to build financial models from scratch and review clients models effectively.
• Demonstrates strong analytical problem-solving and data interpretation skills with an inquisitive mindset and logical thinking.
• Ability to distill complex issues clearly and guide teams to deliver high-quality engagements efficiently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English with a professional demeanor and the confidence to engage with boards of directors senior management cross-functional teams and internal stakeholders.
• Excellent collaboration and adaptability with strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to building and maintaining internal and external professional networks.
• High attention to detail and a meticulous work style.
