Job Description

A highly reputable healthcare system in New Hampshire is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join its brand-new Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU). This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing innovative team caring for critically ill cardiac and vascular patients including those recovering from advanced cardiac surgery.

About the Role

As a CVICU RN you will deliver high-acuity evidence-based care to patients with complex cardiovascular conditions. Youll work in a state-of-the-art environment alongside a collaborative supportive team dedicated to exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Continuously monitor and assess patient status including vital signs and complex physiological functions
  • Administer IV medications such as cardiac support agents and sedatives
  • Manage and interpret cardiac monitors invasive lines arterial lines ventilators chest tubes and other critical-care equipment
  • Respond to emergencies perform CPR and apply advanced life support techniques
  • Perform routine and emergent care including blood draws dressing changes and wound care

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • BSN preferred
  • Active RN license
  • At least 2 years of CVICU experience preferred

Position Details

  • Full-time permanent role
  • 3x12-hour shifts 7:00 PM7:00 AM
