Now Hiring: Special Education Teacher (SPED) Portland Area Schools

Position: Special Education Teacher (SPED)
Location: Portland area schools (In-person only no virtual work)
Schedule: Full-time 40 hours/week
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Through December with possibility of extension
Pay: $57/hour

Details:

Must hold Oregon certification
Comfortable working with K-2 students
Experience with IEPs classroom management and social-emotional skill development
Will be floated between school sites as needed
Students primarily have Autism profiles; program focuses on communication and behavior support
Option to serve as a case manager/IEP writer to support multiple classrooms

Requirements:

Oregon-certified Special Education teacher
In-person availability only
Flexible and able to support multiple classrooms
