Position Objective:
The PL Fountain and Dining Lead is responsible for the PL Fountain and Dining Hall which serve to enhance the program at camp. They are responsible to model a genuine lifestyle of Christian discipleship providing for campers safety and well-being while nurturing spiritual growth through program activities and curriculum in order to lead students one step closer to Jesus in a manner consistent with MHAs mission vision beliefs culture code and standards of conduct.
General Qualifications:
The Ponderosa Lodge (PL) Fountain and Dining Lead is a Ministerial position. Ministerial staff render their work stewardship relationships and behavior as evidence of being followers of Jesus Christ while embracing and affirming Mount Hermon Association Inc.s (MHA) Christian mission vision beliefs culture code and standards of conduct. They are responsible for defining cultivating and leading MHAs Christian community conference programs and retreats. All staff are expected to join gatherings which includes prayer worship and Bible-centered teaching.
Key Job Accountabilities:
* Oversee the care and maintenance of the PL Fountain ensuring that it is stocked staffed and cleaned.
* Oversee the care and maintenance of the PL Dining Hall seating and serving area (not the kitchen) ensuring that it is stocked and cleaned and that campers have a healthy meal time experience.
* Oversee the proper handling of all store revenue.
* Maintain retail spaces as inviting attractive orderly and clean so that customers enjoy spending time there.
* Resolve customer service issues in a professional and timely manner to guarantee customer service experience is excellent.
* Perform any other duties as assigned by the PL Administrative Coordinator.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
* Direct the work of staff working in the PL Fountain.
Education/Certifications/Licenses:
* High school graduate.
* Minimum two years college preferred.
* CPR First Aid Certified.
* Valid drivers license and clean driving record.
Work Experience:
* Minimum one year previous retail or customer service experience.
* Minimum one years experience leading teams.
* Prior experience working with junior high and high school students.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
* Working knowledge of POS systems.
* Ability to articulate the gospel of Jesus Christ as communicated in Scripture.
* Ability to demonstrate a personal committed and thought-through faith in Christ.
* Positive role model listener enthusiastic leader and friend.
* Must exhibit great interpersonal skills with people of all ages.
* A heart to serve whenever needed.
* Ability to engage in a variety of outdoor activities.
Physical Demands:
* Requires standing for long periods squatting twisting and lifting/carrying up to 25 lbs. for a maximum of 20 feet.
Additional Requirements:
* Must be at least 18 years of age due to requirement for onsite community living
* Must have a clean driving record of at least three years and agree to and comply with MHAs employee driving guidelines for MHA-owned vehicles and use of personal vehicles for business purposes.
* Adherence to the basic principles as expressed in MHAs Mission Vision Culture Code and Standards of Conduct.
* Adherence to company dress code and professional standards for personal grooming and appearance.
* Satisfactory completion of background investigation or valid work permit as well as ability to provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
