Position Overview
We are seeking a Junior Accountant to support daily accounting operations and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented organized and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. This role reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with Accounts Receivable: prepare monthly customer reports process ACH payments and follow up on past-due accounts
- Perform Accounts Payable tasks: verify invoices gather approvals and ensure timely payments
- Update financial records using accounting software
- Gather and input payroll-related expenses
- Provide general accounting and administrative support
- Assist in preparing reports for management including analytical summaries
- Perform data entry and maintain organized filing systems
- Conduct research and gather background data for projects
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial documents
- Provide administrative support to the CEO and other leaders as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting or related field
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office accounting software and databases
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field (preferred)
- Bilingual Korean/English preferred
- Reliable transportation (onsite role)
- Self-motivated and energetic work ethic

Required Skills:
Qualifications Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field. 57 years of HR experience including at least 2 years in a managerial capacity. Expertise in California labor laws and employment regulations. HR certifications (PHR SPHR SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP) are a strong advantage. Excellent leadership communication and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with HRIS and payroll systems such as Paychex BambooHR ADP or Workday.
