Whats the role

In this fast-paced and hands-on function youll lead the design and implementation of divisional strategy processes and performance monitoring to ensure alignment with strategic priorities and business objectives.

The role supports the DDAI (Digital Data & AI) COO in translating strategic priorities into actionable plans driving the DDAI operating rhythm implementing Westpacs Ways of Working and embedding scaled Agile practices within simplified governance frameworks.

Additionally the role involves managing key metrics reporting and KPIs to provide insights ensure accountability and enhance automation and efficiency across divisional performance.

What do I need

  • A minimum of 5 years experience working in strategy/operations management as gained in a large-scale corporate arena.
  • Deep experience in strategy implementation problem solving analytical negotiation and organisational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex ideas and concepts.
  • Experience in working & implementing scaled Agile with excellent organisation flexibility and resilience in responding to multiple changing priorities and competing demands.
  • Exceptional people and leadership experience and a proven track record in influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Advanced stakeholder management with highly developed negotiation problem solving and analytical skills.
