Schedule: This position is Monday-Friday with scheduled hours being approximately 8:45am-3:15pm or 30 hours per week.

About our community
Catholic Eldercare is a community of residential facilities in Northeast Minneapolis offering services in assisted living independent living skilled nursing memory care transitional care and adult day services.
Responsibilities
The Program Assistant will provide personal care for participants and assist with daily activities and meals. This position is responsible for motivating and monitoring client participation in daily activities as well as observing and acknowledging any symptoms or changes to client behavior. Other duties include completing all required documentation set-up and serving of lunch and snacks and assisting other staff members with implementing services and activites for the Adult Day participants.
Qualifications
- 1 year hands on experience working with a population with various diagnoses including dementia preferred
- Familiarity with Electronic Health Record and Microsoft Office products
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- CPR First Aid & Airway Obstruction training orwillingness to obtain within 30 days.
- Ability to lift push pull and other physical demands. Lifting from 10-34 pounds frequently up to 75 pounds occasionally.
