We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AV Support Specialist to join our clients team in Washington D.C. This role is crucial for ensuring seamless and effective operation of all audio-visual and conference room systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in AV technologies a proven ability to troubleshoot complex issues and excellent communication skills. This position requires a professional who can manage projects work with vendors and apply ITIL principles to deliver exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical expertise for the implementation maintenance and support of audio-visual and conference room technologies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Microsoft Surface HUB Polycom and other AV equipment.
- Support and manage collaboration platforms including Microsoft Teams and Zoom to ensure a high-quality user experience.
- Manage AV-related projects from conception to completion including planning execution and post-implementation support.
- Act as a key point of contact for vendor management ensuring smooth coordination and delivery of services.
- Maintain documentation and adhere to ITIL principles for incident problem and change management.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external vendors providing clear and concise updates on all projects and support issues.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated technical experience in the audio-visual field.
- Relevant engineering certifications with a focus on audio-visual and conference room equipment (e.g. Microsoft Surface HUB Polycom).
- Current CTS (Certified Technology Specialist) Certification is required.
- Experience with implementing and supporting AV solutions for corporate conference rooms and situation rooms.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and supporting collaboration technologies like Teams and Zoom.
- Proven project management and vendor management skills.
- Familiarity with ITIL principles and experience with a service management platform like Service-Now.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly.
