Responsibilities: To perform the duties of the Clinical Application Specialist in accordance with the policies of the Company in effect at the time faithfully and to the best of your ability. You will report to the Clinical Application Manager. You will be responsible for providing clinical training and sales support. The territory you will be covering is MO AR KS NE IA SD ND and West TN.
Your primary duties and functions include but are not limited to the following:
Training Support
Responsible for clinical training of all new business installed base accounts pharma CRO and key accounts utilizing approved training materials.
Conduct follow-up trainings with research sites in coordination with the territory manager and the director of strategic development.
Maintain all clinical documentation in SFDC for all types of internal/external trainings.
Sales support
Responsible for providing information on product updates and upgrades to their respective sales teams.
Collaboration with respective Territory Managers regarding customer sales and training needs ensuring ongoing communication to manage customer expectations.
Serve as a clinical consultant for the Territory Managers with key customer accounts (disease states diagnostic/therapeutic insights).
Identify and share potential sales leads uncovered during training to the respective Territory Manager.
Proactively educate customers on new and/or existing product/service offerings.
Collaborate with cross-functional departments when potential exists for additional product opportunities.
Identify and communicate potential product champions in an account to the respective Territory Manager to serve as a reference or resource.
Maintain comprehensive records on all account activity in SFDC.
Participate in Regional Sales Meetings.
Participate in Regional and National Conferences as needed.
Medical Affairs Support
Maintain communication line to Clinical Application Manager and/or Medical Affairs with customer feedback.
Attend scientific clinical congress and meetings as a point person for all clinical questions
Work experience requirements: Minimum 3 years clinical training experience preferred in medical devices.
Education requirements: 4-year college degree science or radiology science degree preferred.
Travel Requirements: 50%-75%
