The Continuous Improvement Manager will lead and coordinate continuous improvement initiatives across multiple manufacturing plants within the packaging sector. This position plays a critical role in driving operational efficiency process standardization and cost optimization through the implementation of Lean Manufacturing Six Sigma and other continuous improvement methodologies.
The selected professional will:
Design and implement a multi-plant continuous improvement strategy aligned with corporate goals for productivity quality and sustainability.
Lead the application of Lean and Six Sigma tools to reduce waste improve performance and standardize best practices.
Analyze production and logistics processes to identify bottlenecks minimize scrap and optimize cycle times.
Train and mentor cross-functional teams on continuous improvement methodologies and problem-solving techniques.
Manage projects that deliver measurable operational savings and performance improvements.
Collaborate closely with Production Quality Engineering and Supply Chain departments.
Develop and monitor KPIs and dashboards to report plant performance and ROI.
Foster a company-wide culture of innovation continuous improvement and safety.
Support digital transformation automation and industrial technology initiatives.
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Industrial Mechanical Chemical Engineering or a related field.
812 years of experience in manufacturing ideally in packaging or related conversion industries.
Proven track record leading Lean or Six Sigma projects in multi-plant environments.
Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt certification (preferred).
Strong knowledge of process optimization tools: VSM SPC OEE SMED 5S.
Advanced Excel and Power BI proficiency.
English proficiency at an intermediate to advanced level.
Willingness to travel frequently within Mexico (up to 40%).
