Job Summary

The Foreign Trade Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating international import and export operations of raw materials and finished products for a global company in the packaging sector. This role ensures the efficiency accuracy and compliance of all cross-border logistics processes in a high-volume and complex international environment.

Key duties include managing relationships with freight forwarders (DHL DSV TIBA Kuehne Nagel) customs brokers and internal teams to guarantee timely and compliant shipments. The coordinator supervises logistics documentation verifies tax and tariff calculations monitors performance indicators and ensures full adherence to international trade programs such as IMEX and T-MEC.

The role also involves leading a small team optimizing the use of SAP for shipment tracking and traceability and implementing process improvements that drive efficiency and cost optimization across the supply chain.



Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in International Trade Business Logistics or a related field

  • 35 years of hands-on experience in freight forwarding or global trade operations

  • Proven experience working with DHL TIBA DSV or Kuehne Nagel (KN)

  • Solid knowledge of IMEX NOMs T-MEC tariffs customs and international regulations

  • SAP proficiency (required)

  • INCOTERMS certification (required)

  • Intermediate to advanced English proficiency

  • Strong analytical organizational and leadership skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
