Position Summary
A leading Information and Communication Technology (ICT) solutions provider specializing in cybersecurity digital transformation and network innovation is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales / Account Manager to join its growing African this role the Sales / Account Manager will be responsible for developing and managing customer relationships identifying business opportunities and driving revenue growth across key accounts. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales & Business Development
Take full ownership of the companys innovative ICT and cybersecurity services portfolio within assigned accounts.
Drive the end-to-end sales cycle from lead generation and opportunity qualification to deal closure and post-sale engagement.
Achieve and exceed annual revenue targets by expanding the customer base and deepening existing relationships.
Develop and execute effective account strategies to maximize win rates and ensure long-term client satisfaction.
Generate and manage a pipeline of new business opportunities through networking referrals and digital lead generation.
Client Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers including senior executives and technical stakeholders.
Understand client needs and translate them into tailored technology solutions that align with their business goals.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive communication and responsive service.
Proposal & Tender Management
Prepare detailed proposals quotations and scope-of-work documents for new and existing clients.
Lead and coordinate the bidding and tendering process ensuring timely submission of competitive and compliant proposals.
Collaborate with the technical team to design and present compelling solutions that address customer challenges.
Market Engagement & Representation
Represent the company at industry events exhibitions and seminars to strengthen brand visibility and network with potential clients.
Stay informed on emerging market trends competitive dynamics and customer needs to inform sales strategies.
Provide regular sales forecasts performance reports and insights into market developments.
Collaboration & Internal Coordination
Work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing product and technical departments to align strategies and deliver comprehensive customer solutions.
Utilize CRM and sales automation tools to manage pipeline track opportunities and maintain accurate customer records.
Share market feedback and insights to support continuous improvement in products and services.
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing Information Technology Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years experience in B2B sales or account management preferably within the ICT telecommunications or cybersecurity industry.
Proven track record of achieving and surpassing sales targets in a competitive technology solutions environment.
Strong ability to engage and influence decision-makers at senior and executive levels.
Demonstrated experience in developing sales strategies managing tenders and closing large enterprise deals.
Excellent communication negotiation and presentation skills.
Proficiency with CRM systems and digital sales tools.
Preferred Skills & Attributes
Knowledge of cybersecurity cloud computing or digital transformation solutions.
Strong understanding of the African ICT and cybersecurity landscape.
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
