Your New Role

An attractive opportunity has arisen for a full-time Patent Assistant to join our highly successful Engineering group in Sydney or Melbourne.

Your Key Responsibilities

Working with our database and template system (including Inprotech iManage Outlook)
Data entry
Proof reading
Creating and amending documents
Managing attorney reminders
Ad hoc administrative tasks such as organising meetings and managing emails and official correspondence
Preparation of invoices
Filing of patent applications
Working with the IP Australia and IP Office of New Zealand on-line databases
Other ad hoc duties as required

Your Training and Skills

To be successful in this role it is a requirement that you have:

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Strong organisational and time management skills
Strong attention to detail
Self-confidence and an ability to exercise your initiative
An ability to work in a team and independently
A respect for established processes and procedures
A solid knowledge of MS Office and ideally Inprotech
