Whats the role

12 Month Max-Term Contract / Secondment role - This is a rare opportunity to lead change in one of the most significant regulatory programs in Australian banking. As Senior Change Manager youll be driving the change strategy for Westpacs CPS 900 Resolution Planning program a multi-year initiative in partnership with APRA to strengthen the banks resilience and readiness for resolution by 2028.

Youll work closely with the Program Director and Group Treasury to shape and deliver a change roadmap that aligns with key milestones engages stakeholders and ensures the organisation is equipped to meet its regulatory obligations. From communications and training to governance and reporting youll be the central force connecting people plans and progress.

This is a full-time role based in Sydney with flexible work arrangements available. Youll be part of a high-performing purpose-driven team working on a program that truly matters.

What do I need

Were looking for a confident experienced change leader who thrives in complex environments and knows how to bring clarity structure and momentum to large-scale programs.

  • Proven experience delivering change in high-risk ambiguous regulatory or transformation programs.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels including senior executives and external regulators.
  • Deep understanding of change management principles including communications training behavioural insights and design thinking.
  • Ability to develop and execute change plans reporting frameworks and governance processes that support program success.
  • A natural coach and mentor who builds capability shares knowledge and champions best practice across teams.
