We deliver nutritious meals tailored to medical needs while adhering to consistent procedures and maintaining the highest food safety standards. Mission for Position
The Nutrition Services Aide provides an exceptional dining experience by delivering safe nutritious and high-quality meals that we would confidently serve to our own families. We are committed to upholding the highest food safety standards working with care and a positive attitude to support patient well-being all while fostering a friendly and enjoyable work environment.
Position Overview
The Dishwasher plays a key role in maintaining a clean safe and efficient food service environment within the Dietary department. This position is responsible for ensuring all dishes utensils and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized according to health and safety standards. The Dishwasher supports the dietary team by assisting with kitchen organization restocking supplies and helping maintain a smooth workflow during meal service. This role contributes to the overall quality and safety of patient resident and staff dining experiences at Lakewood Health System.
Position Type
This is a part-time position working7:00am-3:30pm.Every other weekend and some holidays are required.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Must be 16 years of age or older
- Kitchen experience preferred
Ideal Candidate
A dependable compassionate team player with excellent communication and customer service skills. They demonstrate reliability attention to detail and strong organizational skills while working efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Able to manage multiple tasks follow procedures accurately and collaborate with others to deliver high-quality meal service. Prior food service or healthcare experience is a plus but a willingness to learn is key.
