Job Summary

Reporting to the Director Front Office responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to:

  • Assist the Director of Front Office in overseeing all Front Office and Guest Services operations ensuring service standards are consistently met or exceeded.
  • Lead mentor and support a team of supervisors and line-level colleagues across Front Desk PBX Operator Bell/Lobby Ambassadors and Concierge.
  • Ensure efficient and personalized guest check-in/check-out procedures.
  • Monitor guest feedback and work cross-departmentally to implement service enhancements.
  • Manage daily scheduling payroll and shift coverage to meet forecasted occupancy.
  • Handle guest escalations and VIP arrivals with professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Support the implementation and training of Opera Cloud PMS maintaining system accuracy and team competency.
  • Collaborate with Housekeeping Engineering and other departments to ensure seamless communication and operational flow.
  • Assist with labor productivity expense and inventory control and KPI tracking for the department.
  • Uphold and model Fairmont brand standards and Forbes service expectations.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications :

  • Minimum 3 years of progressive leadership experience in luxury hotel Front Office operations.
  • Proven knowledge and hands-on experience with Opera Cloud Property Management System is required.
  • Strong communication organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and resolve guest issues diplomatically.
  • Detail-oriented with a passion for hospitality and guest service excellence.
  • Flexibility to work weekends evenings and holidays as required.
  • Bachelors degree in hospitality management or a related field is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities
  • Computer proficiency in a Windows environment (Word Excel PowerPoint)
