As a Technology Support III at JPMorgan Chase within theCommercial & Investment Bank you will ensure the operational stability availability and performance of our production application flows. Encourage a culture of continuous improvement as you troubleshoot maintain identify escalate and resolve production service interruptions for all internally and externally developed systems leading to a seamless user experience.
Job responsibilities
- Address queries from sales users related to managing sales orders and execution workflows across Rates Credit Repo and FX. Collaborate with Sales Product Application Development and Engineering teams to translate business needs into technical solutions drive resolutions and identify trends to support ongoing improvements.
- Serve as the primary incident reporter ensuring timely and accurate communication. Participate in resiliency exercises and treat operations as software problemstroubleshoot resolve and minimize client impacts to maintain business continuity.
- Analyze and troubleshoot production application flows monitor environments for anomalies and utilize observability tools to ensure end-to-end service delivery.
- Develop automation to minimize manual effort create and maintain real-time monitoring dashboards and proactively manage events to enhance system reliability and performance.
- Ensure platform resiliency through Disaster Recovery (DR) Site Reliability (SR) and High Availability (HA) events.
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn new business domains and technologies. Engage with emerging solutions including AI and Cloud to help drive the evolution of our platforms and processes.
Required qualifications capabilities and skills
- 3 years of experience or equivalent expertise troubleshooting resolving and maintaining information technology services
- Experience in troubleshooting resolving and maintaining IT services and applications including public/private cloud-based environments.
- Experience with automation scripting (Python UNIX shell scripting etc.) and observability/monitoring tools (Datadog Dynatrace Splunk ITRS Geneos).
- Understanding of networking concepts and troubleshooting.
- Strong communication collaboration and relationship-building skills.
- Continuous improvement mindset.
- Willingness to learn new business areas and technologies.
Preferred qualifications capabilities and skills
- Familiarity with ITIL support methodologies.
- Experience in DevOps/SRE environments.
- Interest or experience in AI and Cloud technologies.
