Basic Qualifications
Minimum of 4 years experience in Technical Support (Network Engineering) and relevant troubleshooting working with the following:
Network Access Control Application knowledge and working Experience
Good Understanding on DHCP DNS Active directory certificate services
Working experience on network monitoring and management tools is an advantage
Wired (Switching/Routing) Preferred.
Specific Knowledge/Skills
Associate degree or Technical Certification in Information systems and System/network troubleshooting or 3 years directly related career experience.
Good working experience on NAC ( Network Access Control) applications
Network monitoring/management Tools using SNMPV3
Application Programming Interface (API) is added advantage
Good knowledge on the following protocols:
o EAP-PEAP EAP-TLS EAP-TTLS etc
Working experience on DHCP DNS servers
Working knowledge on deploying VMs / Managing them is added advantage
Knowledge of TCP/IP OSI model Intermediate Switching and Routing knowledge.
Good knowledge on the following protocols:
o L1 & Switching (VLANs STP LACP etc.)
o Routing (VRRP Static Routing OSPF etc.)
o Entra-ID / Intune (Basic understanding working experience is an advantage)
o Application specific certification in windows like (Active directory certificate services Mobile device management MDM) is an advantage.
Excellent communications skills oral written and listening.
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills and be able to interact effectively with customers to troubleshoot problems over the phone.
More than three years of technical support role would be a plus.
