Assistant Governor Services Manager Governance Oversight

Permanent

Working 36.5 hours per week

Are you passionate about improving school governance and supporting educational outcomes Birmingham City Council is seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our Governor Services team as an Assistant Governor Services Manager Governance Oversight.


In this key role you will:

Lead the development and management of systems to monitor and assess governance quality in maintained schools and academies

Oversee data integrity and reporting on governing body membership and training

Support strategic interventions and contribute to high-level reports for senior officers and elected members

Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective governance oversight and compliance
