City Capital are currently representing a highly respected & fast-growing property finance lender who have retained our services to appoint a highly organised and forward-thinking Governance Analyst who will work in support of the companys Head of Governance.

Our client is a leading specialist property finance lender who have built a strong reputation for providing fast flexible and tailored property finance solutions to professional property investors & developers.
They have grown at an exponential rate over recent years doubling the size of their headcount consistently year on year and expanding into new exciting markets. As a result the business infrastructure has reached the point where it requires strong governance as our client targets the next phase of growth.
As a result of this they are seeking an experienced Governance Analyst who will work in support of the Head of Governance and who will play an integral role in governance projects and the ultimate growth of the governance framework.
Role Overview
This is a brand-new role created to support the Head of Governance with critical business activity and projects. This role is formed ahead of the expected growth of the governance department offering opportunity to join at a critical stage of influence and impact.
You will join at the earlier phases of development and thus will have an outstanding opportunity to really stamp your own mark on the development enhancement and ultimate optimisation of the groups governance structure.
This role sits at the intersection between compliance risk management board oversight and corporate integrity. You will be critical to the overall build oversight and delivery of the agreed governance framework as well as offering direct executive support to the board where required.
This will be a varied role which will also include identifying problems and opportunities developing and enhancing company policies governance change project leadership requirement mapping handbooks committee & meeting structures board planning etc
This role also sits parallel to the companys wider change and strategic transformation projects that are both exciting and ongoing allowing you to engage with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders to drive success.
Responsibilities
Provide extensive governance support to the Head of Governance
Communicate directly cross-departmentally across varying levels of seniority
To actively work with legal and regulatory prep for the board and wider company
Impact ongoing governance planning and projects to drive excellence in delivery
Supporting the generation of policies undertaking any research required
Support governance processes including distribution and preparation of board packs
Liaise with legal compliance risk for alignment on governance and regulatory matters
Ensure data is accessible while also safe and secure whistleblowing any anomalies
Draft and proofread internal and external communications reports and governance docs
Prepare reports from business analysis research to support decision making
Maintain confidentiality and discretion with sensitive information
Candidate Requirements
The ideal individual for this role will be an experienced Governance Analyst or similar with a demonstrable track record of developing governance frameworks and policies.
You will require an excellent attention to detail and will be highly organised capable of managing multiple workstreams simultaneously and driving forward projects towards key deadlines. You must be happy to work in a growing and fast paced environment.
Critically you will be serious about upholding legal and regulatory standards & will be proactive in approach quick to spot opportunities or issues and to address them. You will be happy leading stakeholder projects and liaising with the board where required.
On Offer
Our client is ideally looking to pay between 50k - 65k as a basic salary for the ideal individual which will be relevant to experience. Higher offers may also be considered for an exceptional track record in governance analysis or management.
Salary will be complemented by access to our clients favourable bonus scheme too with the bonus potential allowing you to substantially increase annual earnings based on performance.
Most notably this is a key hire into the newly formed governance department at a truly exciting time. This department is set to grow in scale with the business and our client is renowned for their strong and proven promote from within policy. As the first key hire into the team this could offer fantastic opportunities to propel your own career standing and salary forward within where excellent performance is delivered.
Due to the high level of collaboration required in this role this role will be based in our clients fantastic Central London offices.
