What Youll Do

Employment Trainer Help the people we support achieve success in their jobs by providing hands-on training advocacy and ongoing support. This role focuses on skill-building workplace integration and fostering independence.

Responsibilities:

Train the people we support to meet job expectations and develop workplace skills.
Advocate for inclusion integration and productivity in the workplace.
Offer supportive counseling to address social and job-related concerns.
Assist with job development to match employment goals and skills.
Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports.
Participate in training sessions to stay up-to-date on best practices.
Collaborate with agency staff to prepare individuals for community employment.

Requirements

Exceptional communication and computer skills.
Valid drivers license.
Ability to be certified in all required trainings.
Occasionally required to lift up to 50 pounds.
One-year experience working with individuals with disabilities (preferred).
High School Diploma or GED (now called TASC)
