Job Summary
A boutique professional services firm specializing in accountancy and audits based in Naxxar is seeking an Operations Manager to join their team.
As an Operations Manager you will oversee and enhance operational workflows lead a team and ensure the firm delivers high-quality services efficiently.
Salary: Up to 50K benefits
Role and Responsibilities
- Develop implement and maintain efficient operational procedures across departments (client onboarding trade processing account maintenance reporting compliance)
- Identify inefficiencies risks and bottlenecks proposing practical solutions for improvement
- Leverage technology and automation to streamline operations and boost productivity
- Create and maintain comprehensive operations manuals and documentation
- Manage mentor and motivate a team of operations specialists/associates conducting performance reviews and identifying training needs
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement accountability and excellent client service
- Liaise with IT on system enhancements upgrades and troubleshooting
- Oversee effective utilization of core financial software and evaluate new technologies to improve efficiency and client experience
- Generate and analyze operational reports on KPIs efficiency metrics and service levels presenting insights and recommendations to senior management
- Coordinate scheduling staffing and workflow across audit and accounting teams
- Ensure compliance with professional regulatory and internal standards and that deadlines are consistently met
Education Skills and Experience
- Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent
- 2 years experience in a similar operations role within Financial Services CPS or related sectors
- Fluency in English both written and spoken
- Strong organizational planning and project management skills
- Proactive solutions-oriented and able to take initiative
