We are seeking an experienced Employment Attorney with at least 2 - 4 years of employment law experience. A background in class action litigation is a strong plus though not required. The ideal candidate is someone who values mentorship quality over quantity and a thoughtful approach to legal work.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage a caseload of employment litigation matters including claims of wrongful termination discrimination harassment wage & hour and class/PAGA actions
Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to develop case strategies
Draft review and revise legal documents such as pleadings motions briefs and discovery responses
Represent clients in court proceedings including hearings depositions mediations arbitrations and trials as needed
Provide strategic counsel to clients by evaluating available options and formulating effective courses of action
Collaborate with partners associates paralegals and support staff to ensure efficient case management and client communication
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal state and local employment laws and regulations
QUALIFICATIONS:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
Active membership in good standing with the California State Bar
Minimum of 2 - 4 years of experience in employment law litigation
Class action and/or PAGA experience strongly preferred
Proven track record of handling cases from inception through trial
Strong analytical research and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
Interest in mentoring and contributing to firm culture
BENEFITS & COMPENSATION:
Compensation: $145000 - $185000
