Discover Impactful Work:

The Quality Coordinator working within the Facilities Project & Engineering Department provides essential support for the Quality Management System and the eDMS Document Management System. This role involves assisting with TrackWise quality events (deviations) including writing up investigations setting up investigation teams to establish root cause analysis (RCA) and documenting outcomes. Additionally the Quality Coordinator supports document owners in authoring and updating documents within eDMS as well as monitoring and reporting department quality metrics. The Quality Coordinator also participates in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality processes and systems within the department.

A day in the Life:

  • Assist with quality investigations using Trackwise including root cause analysis and the implementation of Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs) based on investigation outcomes.
  • Prioritise workload to meet performance targets and ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Monitoring and reporting of department quality metrics to trend and identify underlying issues.
  • Support with collating and trending of pest control data.
  • Support with updates and review of GxP documents in the document management system (eDMS) and ensure process updates are implemented within the department.
  • Assist the departments Subject Matter Expert (SME) in managing and reviewing the Environmental Monitoring System and provide support with the calibration process.
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects to enhance quality processes and systems.
  • Supporting the document storage and archiving process for department.

Education

  • Degree Level or equivalent in relevant subject (bio-medical pharma natural sciences science-based) or shown experience
  • Word and Excel proficient
  • Knowledge or Experience within Quality Management
  • PC Literate

Experience Knowledge Skills Abilities

  • Knowledge of GMP or regulated environments
  • Working in a matrix management organisation. Ability to influence across functions across Thermo Fisher Scientific sites and across companies to achieve objectives
  • Process analysis collecting/analysing data and writing professional reports
  • Recent graduate or industry experience
