Become Our New Supplier Quality Assurance Specialist at Mars!
Location: Slough

As a valued member of our Supplier Quality Assurance Team youll proactively ensure our suppliers meet the highest Mars standardsso only the very best ingredients reach our sites. Working closely with the broader commercial team youll develop and manage our dairy suppliers supporting our growth ambitions and commercial targets. Your technical expertise and ability to build strong partnerships will be key to driving continuous improvement!

What are your key responsibilities

Assessing & Improving:Youll assess and confirm that our dairy suppliers meet Mars standards through risk assessments audits and analytical data reviews.
Building Partnerships:Youll represent Mars in managing suppliers and building strong technical collaborations to achieve quality performance and program goals.
Resolving & Preventing Issues:Youll address raw material non-conformances with thorough root cause analysis and work with suppliers to define and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Innovating & Developing:Youll support the technical development of our supplier base preparing us for future innovation and growth.
Leading & Connecting:Youll lead key regional quality projects collaborating closely with colleagues in R&D and Supply.

What are we looking for

Passion for Quality & Food Safety:Youre energized by delivering top-quality safe products.
Collaboration & Project Management:Youre a true team player and know how to lead projects to success.
Experience:You have at least 4 years experience in dairy or raw material production environments and a minimum of 2 years auditing experience.
Certification:Youre a certified Lead Auditor (BRC or equivalent).
Technical Leadership:You have experience facilitating and leading technical projects with suppliers.
Problem-Solving Skills:You use your scientific knowledge to tackle challenges head-on.
Quality Management Expertise:Youre familiar with tools and techniques like QMP GMP SPC LEAN and HACCP.
Flexibility & Willingness to Travel: You can expect to travel approximately 12 times per year to countries such as France Germany and Belgium for supplier audits.
