What your day to day looks like:
Responsibilities
Set up customer accounts fill out vendor forms and review customer contracts
Enter purchase orders into ERP system with accurate and detailed order notes
Provide shipment tracking information to sales/customer when order ships
Receive sales order packet and create a project checklist of all on-site delivery requirements
Review open orders to monitor progress and provide status updates to sales/customer
Investigate carrier delivery delays and material shortage claims and resolve accordingly
Spearhead cross-departmental project launch meetings to define timelines and clarify responsibilities
Use GANTT-style project sheets to foresee potential future roadblocks and respond proactively
Receive design change requests and arrange on-site assistance with technical/sales to resolve
Provide auxiliary service for national or regional account
Requirements
3 years relevant experience working in Project Management Procurement or Inside Sales
Project Management skills GANTT chart experience highly organized good record keeping
Communication skills clear and professional communication (written and verbal)
Computer skills PM/ERP software experience Microsoft Office Suite
As the Project Coordinator your attitude and aptitude are critical. Extensive experience is not required for the role however the willingness and desire to learn new things will be a key factor in your success. Other important characteristics include:
