Were looking for a Smart Home Systems Designer to translate client visions into precise buildable system designs. Youll collaborate with Sales Project Management and Installation to create seamless reliable and beautiful technology experiences.
- Design integrated systems including Control4 AV surveillance networking lighting and shades
- Produce scope documents wiring diagrams and load schedules
- Specify parts lists rack elevations and equipment layouts
- Coordinate with clients builders and Hives production team
- Support field teams during commissioning or troubleshooting
- Stay current with new tech and Control4 updates
- Detail-oriented with a strong technical foundation in low-voltage systems
- Experienced with Control4 Lutron networking and surveillance systems
- Comfortable using design software (D-Tools X-10 AutoCAD or similar)
- Able to communicate clearly with clients builders and teammates
- Motivated by precision organization and great system outcomes
- 2 years in system design drafting or AV integration
- Control4 or CEDIA certification preferred
- Understanding of residential networking fundamentals
- Ability to manage multiple active projects and deadlines
