We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as an Aircraft Wheel and Brake Technician Level 1 for our Production team.

The opportunity:
The Aircraft Wheel and Brake Technician Level I positionisan integral role within the TP Aerospace position ensures the disassembly ofaircraftwheels and brakesin accordance withthe manufacturers Component Maintenance Manuals (CMMS) FAA regulations the companys Qualitystandardsand company policies.
The primary tasks:
- Communicate and coordinate with Disassembly Lead to obtain the daily work objectives
- Review work orders prior to starting work on each unit andcomply withthe special instructions for each unit
- Review of part numbers and serial numbers to ensurean accuratematch with work order paperwork
- Disassembly cleaning and paint removal of incoming wheels and brakes
- Ensure all workaccomplishedis donein accordance withthe applicable CMMs FAA regulations TP Aerospaces Quality standards and company policies.
- Adhereto strict safety guidelines and company standards
Qualifications:
We are seeking an Aircraft Wheel and Brake Technician who can identify with the description below:
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to understand readwriteand communicate in English
- 3yearsrelevant experience inthe aviation industry the automotive industry or in a technical production environment preferred
- Reading and understanding technical drawings andalignthem with our customer requirements
- Working experience with precision measuring tools disassembly blasting and cleaning machines
- Knowledge of the maintenance procedures and the organization of the FAA/EASA TPA Part 145 operation
