Job Summary

Title: Travel Registered Nurse Medical Surgical (Med Surg)
Job Location: Watertown NY
Unit: Med Surg
Duration: 13 weeks (extendable)
Shift: 12x3 Nights Weekend holiday and call required
Schedule: 7:00 PM 7:00 AM
Pay Rate: $2361.96 (Weekly Gross)

Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a Medical-Surgical unit.
Must have a minimum of 2 years of prior RN experience in a Med/Surg unit.
Minimum of 1 successful travel assignment required.
Coronary Care experience is mandatory.
Must be willing and able to float between Med/Surg and PCU departments as needed.
May be required to assume charge nurse responsibilities during shifts.
Ability to perform effectively in fast-paced and high-pressure situations.
Demonstrates strong leadership communication and organizational skills.
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.

Education:

Associates Degree or higher in Nursing from an accredited program.

Certifications & Licensure:

Basic Life Support (BLS) AHA required.
Active New York State Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license.
