We are looking for: Medical Oncology Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT)

Have you lost a loved pet to cancer and have a heart to help others avoid the same heartache This team develops strong bonds with our patients and clients requiring compassion and excellent patient Medical Oncology technicians thrive in a fast-paced environment can multi-task will develop excellent venipuncture skills have high attention to detail and will gain experience in chemotherapy treatments.

What youll do:

Assist in chemotherapy protocols

Drug calculations as they relate to treatment plans

Vertical-flow hood and maintenance

Clinical studies/trials

Extravasation protocols/safety

Administration of chemotherapy requiring excellent venipuncture skills and IV catheter placement

Coordinate and manage client communication/education via phone and email

Manage appointments obtain histories invoicing patient discharges scheduling

Accurate and thorough documentation in medical records

Clinical studies/trials

Who you are:

State Registered Veterinary Technician license

Prior veterinary experience previous oncology experience desired

Proficient in calculations (drugs constant rate infusions unit conversions etc.)

Flexibility with work hours and able to work additional hours when necessary

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
