Senior File System Developer

Tuxera is looking for a Senior File System Developer to join our Hungary this role you will play a key part in designing and delivering reliable high-performance storage and connectivity solutionsused by some of the worlds leading technology companies.

What Youll Do

• Design and implement advanced features and optimizations for Tuxeras file system and connectivity products.
• Lead technical initiatives to improve system performance scalability and reliability.
• Collaborate closely with global engineering teams to integrate Tuxera technologies into customer and partner solutions.
• Support and guide custom engineering projects from concept to delivery.
• Drive continuous improvement by refining development processes tools and quality standards.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to maintaining a culture of technical excellence.

What Were Looking For

• Strong programming expertise in C with a focus on embedded and system-level development.
• Proven experience with embedded systems and/or real-time operating systems (RTOS).
• Experience in debugging profiling and optimizing performance in constrained environments.
• Proficiency with scripting languages (e.g. Python Perl) for automation and testing.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong sense of ownership and accountability.

Nice to Have

• Experience with coding standards such as MISRA.
• Familiarity with V-model or similar software development processes.
• Ability to review code provide constructive feedback and guide best practices.
• Experience contributing to open-source file system or kernel projects.
