Job Summary

Our rapidly growing partner a Global Top10 Innovative Pharma is in search of a Senior Category Buyer for CAPEX projects focusing on the Western European region. This professional will provide procurement strategy to the Construction & Engineering departments and manage supplier relationships while holding continuous contact with the Global Category Procurement team.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement a regional procurement strategy aligned with the global category strategy.
Conduct internal and external analysis to set strategic direction for each category and sub-category.
Stay updated on industry benchmarks and supply chain best practices.
Build a strong regional stakeholder network and collaborate globally to drive strategic initiatives.
Align procurement strategies with business needs and support smooth implementation.

Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best terms.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure quality timely delivery and contract compliance.
Address and resolve supplier-related issues efficiently.
Conduct business reviews with key suppliers as required.
Act as a change agent by introducing innovation and leveraging the global footprint.
Lead multi-location projects manage RFQs and drive cost-saving initiatives.

Identify forecast and manage CAPEX needs for regional projects - packages lead RFQs optimize procurement costs.
Develop and implement a regional CAPEX procurement strategy in alignment with global objectives.

Track and report procurement performance and savings.
Ensure compliance with best practices in cost management risk mitigation innovation ESG and corporate responsibility.

Requirements:

CAPEX procurement experience (2-3 years) - advantage if it is from the pharmaceutical industry.
Bsc in Engineering/Business or any other field relevant in procurement.
High level of English language skills both written and spoken.
Knowledge of CAPEX pharma supplier market in construction.
Negotiation and project management skills and techniques.
People management skills.
