Locals Accepted / Rate Difference: Yes Skills: IV Start Telemetry Certs: BCLS PREFERRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP: Certs: ACLS NIH JOB DETAILS: Target Ratios: 1:6/7 - 1:6 Target Ratio during normal staffing (max 1:7 ratio when census is up/ during critical staffing) Unit will accept contracts for 13 weeks - 26 Weeks *36 hours ONLY Shift: 12HR NIGHTS; 18:45 - 07:15 ***RTO 7 DAYS MAX for AYA AUTO OFFER*** Float Requirement: Yes traveler will work with the CNRO(Centralized Resource Nursing Pool). Candidates will float all medical/Surgical floors Weekend Requirement: Every other Weekend REQUIRED. At managers discretion ** Contract staff will be assigned and expected to work a Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team. Contract staff may be required to report to work during a catastrophic event mass casualty or disaster. Consolidation to the Centralized Office mid contract may occur and the contract staff may be preassigned to units as needed PATIENT DIAGNOSES: Patients are med surg (We no longer accept cardiac telemetry patients as before). UNIT SYSTEMS: Pyxis EPIC SBAR SCHEDULING TYPE: Self-scheduling per Uint Needs UNIT ORIENTATION: 24 hours SCRUBS: Navy and/or White. *** INTERNAL NOTES *** Must pass EKG Testing prior to start for this specialty
