Our clientis one of the worlds leading manufacturers of gelatine and collagen peptides and has more than 2800 employees and 22 sites across six continents!
They are located just outside Beaudesert in the beautiful Scenic Rim region with87 employees on site theyproduce 4000 tonnes of gelatine per of the gelatine is sold as edible gelatine some 60% being supplied to the confectionery industry the remainder being used in dairy and pharmaceutical applications.
They are seeking the services of an experienced Stores Officer/Procurement Assistant to assist with the efficient function of the warehousing and procurement section including purchasing contracting and accounts payable in line with statutory requirements.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Handle receipt of goods processing orders and managing stock movements.
- Responding to inquiries from internal customers and ensuring timely delivery of required items.
- Maintaining accurate records of all transactions inventory movements and supplier information.
- Distribution of inwards goods to relevant area/personnel.
- Provide support and assistance to the procurement manager.
To be consideredyou will need to meet the following criteria:
- Forklift Licence
- Current Drivers Licence
Proven experience and knowledge regarding compliance within food manufacturingregulations policies and procedures related to procurement inventory management and safetywill be considered highly advantageous!

MUST have Q Fever vaccination or be willing to get it!
Need to live within 40mins ideally eg. Canungra Beaudesert or Kooralbynetc would suit someone sick of city commute.
Experienced with food industry or FMCG knowledge.
