Location: Houston USA/ Bangalore IndiaDuration: 12 MonthsOverview:- Were seeking a Digital Hydrocarbon Accounting Consultant to support clients in optimizing production and revenue accounting processes.
- The ideal candidate combines strong domain expertise in hydrocarbon accounting with hands-on experience in SAP PRA or Energy Components (EC) and an interest in digital enablement data integration and process automation.
Responsibilities:- Support clients in modernizing hydrocarbon accounting workflows using digital tools and data platforms.
- Configure and enhance SAP PRA or Energy Components for production allocation and revenue processes.
- Validate and reconcile production and sales data to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Data Operations IT) to integrate field data systems and analytics solutions.
- Contribute to system testing user training and change management as part of digital transformation initiatives.
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve data quality automation and business transparency.
Requirements: - Bachelors degree in Engineering Accounting or related field.
- 5 years experience in hydrocarbon or production accounting within the Oil & Gas industry.
- Experience with SAP PRA (preferred) or Energy Components is preferred. Exposure to data or analytics platforms (e.g. Power BI Foundry Spotfire or Azure) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of production allocation revenue reporting and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent communication skills and client-facing consulting experience.
Preferred Skills:- Knowledge of system integration between field data capture production accounting and reporting tools.
- Experience working in digital transformation or data modernization programs.
- Ability to translate business needs into digital and process improvement solutions.
