Accounting Manager

About this Position
Were seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee daily accounting operations support financial reporting and guide a team of Accounting Specialists and Senior this role youll lead core functions such as general ledger prepaid fixed asset and ATM accounting. Youll also support month-end close year-end reporting and financial analysis while identifying opportunities to streamline processes and enhance accuracy. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leadership problem-solving and improving the efficiency of accounting operations.
Job Responsibilities
- Oversee daily accounting functions ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and by established deadlines.
- Prepare and review journal entries financial reports subsidiary ledger reconciliations (ATM Fixed Assets Prepaids) and processor reports.
- Support budget preparation variance analysis and quality control for year-end tax reporting and regulatory submissions.
- Identify gaps and implement process improvements to increase departmental efficiency and accuracy.
- Manage a team of accounting professionals through coaching development performance management and regular touch-base meetings.
- Maintain strong communication with internal departments assist staff as needed and keep leadership informed of key updates or concerns.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP internal procedures regulations and Credit Union standards.
Skills/Requirements
- 5 years of accounting experience including supervisory responsibilities.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles financial reporting account reconciliation and month-end close processes.
- Experience preparing journal entries analyzing variances and reviewing complex financial data.
- Ability to research and resolve accounting discrepancies and interpret accounting standards.
- Proficient in accounting systems reporting tools and general computer applications.
- Strong leadership communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to provide clear guidance and support to team members.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities maintain confidentiality and collaborate across departments.

- Must remain compliant with all applicable laws regulations and Credit Union standards.

Pay Range
Salary Range: $90000 - $100000
