We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our Quality Inspection team. Reporting to the Quality Inspections Lead you will ensure quality across all stages of transformer manufacturing from incoming parts and in-process checks to final product inspections. Youll play a key role in maintaining high standards identifying non-conformances and supporting continuous improvement.
What youll do:
- Inspect incoming materials and components to ensure they meet specifications.
- Monitor manufacturing processes to verify compliance with engineering and quality standards.
- Perform final checks on finished transformers before dispatch.
- Identify and report non-conformances supporting corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate quality records for traceability and audits.
- Help improve inspection procedures and quality checklists.
- Support supplier evaluations audits and quality meetings.
- Analyse inspection data to drive improvements and root cause investigations.
What youll need:
- 5 years in quality control or inspection ideally in industrial manufacturing
- Strong grasp of manufacturing processes and quality standards
- Able to read technical drawings and specifications
- Skilled with inspection tools and measurement techniques
- Detail-oriented with accurate documentation skills
- Good communicator and team collaborator
- Familiar with root cause analysis and quality reporting
- Comfortable using software for quality tracking and documentation
- Shows strong accountability problem-solving skills and clear communication while working well with others in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in transformer manufacturing or electrical/heavy industry inspection along with familiarity with IEC/ISO standards and quality practices is preferred but not essential.
