| Job Description: | The College of Journalism and Communications Director of Community and Culture is currently seeking an organized professional and creative individual as an assistant. This position requires a dedication of 10 hours weekly. To be successful in this position applicants should be detail-oriented and a creative-thinker. Previous leadership experience at the university level is a plus. Responsibilities - Meet weekly with the Director (meeting time is flexible)
- Attend and take minutes at monthly Community and Culture Committee meetings
- Fall 2025 dates (Fridays at 12:50 p.m.): Oct. 10 Nov. 14 Dec. 5
- Collect and compile data on the progress of committee task forces
- Connect with CJC leaders for updates on activities and initiatives
- Write stories on committee member activities for the CJC newsletter
- Serve as a liaison between student task forces and the Director
- Facilitate communication between the Director and various student organizations
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed
- Conduct research and manage projects as assigned by director
