Ashland Free Standing Emergency Room is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN for a contract-to-permanent opportunity in a modern freestanding ER setting. Start on contract assess fit and transition into a long-term role if aligned.
Position Overview
- Contract-to-permanent opportunity
- Start date: January 5 2026
- Initial contract end: April 4 2026
- Schedule: 12-hour nights
- Every other weekend and major holidays required
Facility & Unit Details
- Freestanding Emergency Room
- 10 beds 3 flex bays
- New facility
- Estimated 35 50 patients per day
- All ages and medical complaints
- Typical ratio 1:4 (staffing dependent)
Required Experience & Skills
- 1.5 years of Emergency Department experience
- Strong IV skills
- Ability to provide respiratory support
- EKG competency required (study guide provided)
- Comfortable with a fast-paced autonomous ED environment
Certifications Required
- Active RN license (compact or state)
- BLS ACLS PALS
- CPI and NRP preferred
- EPIC charting preferred
