Job Summary

Ashland Free Standing Emergency Room is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN for a contract-to-permanent opportunity in a modern freestanding ER setting. Start on contract assess fit and transition into a long-term role if aligned.

Position Overview

Contract-to-permanent opportunity
Start date: January 5 2026
Initial contract end: April 4 2026
Schedule: 12-hour nights
Every other weekend and major holidays required

Facility & Unit Details

Freestanding Emergency Room
10 beds 3 flex bays
New facility
Estimated 35 50 patients per day
All ages and medical complaints
Typical ratio 1:4 (staffing dependent)

Required Experience & Skills

1.5 years of Emergency Department experience
Strong IV skills
Ability to provide respiratory support
EKG competency required (study guide provided)
Comfortable with a fast-paced autonomous ED environment

Certifications Required

Active RN license (compact or state)
BLS ACLS PALS
CPI and NRP preferred
EPIC charting preferred
