Job Overview

As an NDT Level II Technician X-ray CT you will be responsible for performing industrial CT scanning and digital radiographic inspections interpreting results and ensuring compliance with industry standards. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented technician eager to pivot into advanced imaging techniques while collaborating with a team of experts in a high-tech environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct X-ray CT and digital radiographic inspections on a variety of materials and components.
  • Interpret CT scan data and radiographic images identifying defects and inconsistencies.
  • Set up and calibrate industrial CT scanning equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Follow ASNT NAS410 ASTM and other industry standards for NDT testing and reporting.
  • Document inspection results and communicate findings to engineering quality and production teams.
  • Assist in developing inspection techniques and process improvements.
  • Maintain a safe and compliant work environment in accordance with NDT best practices.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers and management on complex inspections and special projects.

Required Qualifications

  • NDT Level II certification in Radiographic Testing (RT) and/or Computed Tomography (CT).
  • Hands-on experience with industrial X-ray digital radiography or CT scanning.
  • Proficiency in interpreting CT scan images and digital radiographic data.
  • Familiarity with NDT software and imaging tools (e.g. VGStudio Volume Graphics ImageJ etc.).
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to analyze complex imaging data.
  • Understanding of NDT safety protocols and radiation safety procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in aerospace medical devices automotive or advanced manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of 3D image reconstruction and metrology applications.
  • Exposure to AI-assisted defect detection or automation in NDT.
  • Strong communication skills for technical reporting and team collaboration.
