Job Summary
Position Description:
Lead application migration within a data center migration program for payment card acquiring and issuing systems. Work closely with PM architects DevOps infra/network teams and occasionally external suppliers. Initial phase on-site with occasional remote work; hybrid model possible after onboarding.
Job responsibilities:
Analyze and document the current (as-is) state.
Define migration goals strategy and transformation scope (infra/app upgrades containerization HA etc.).
Design target (to-be) deployment architecture and migration plan.
Refactor/test application code if needed (e.g. middleware dependency upgrades).
Build new DEV/QA/UAT/PROD/DR environments in target data centers.
Define firewall load balancing middleware and DB requirements.
Document solution and migration approach (Confluence).
Coordinate testing (functional PEN certifications) and production migration.
Support decommissioning of legacy environments and manage migration risks.
Work closely with PMs to define WBS plan next actions and remove blockers.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Proven experience in application or data center migration projects.
Strong communication in English and Polish.
Ability to document architecture and collaborate with SMEs and technical teams.
Broad technical knowledge: middleware CI/CD containerization (Kubernetes) AWS/Azure.
Understanding of performance availability monitoring and networking (TLS LB).
Knowledge of payment acquiring/issuing domain is an advantage.
Independent goal-oriented quality-focused and collaborative.
Initial phase on-site with occasional remote work; hybrid model possible after onboarding.
