Job Summary

About the role:

Within the marketing organization the Red Hat Global Events Team is looking for a Marketing Coordinator to join the Marketing Events this role you support marketing events strategy planning onsite executions data analysis systems operations/reporting and communications for Red Hats global event presence within the technology industry. You will report to the Manager Global Event Strategy who leads the Marketing Event Strategy Team. (MET) Youll support the program implementation and processes to ensure the program remains healthy. This is a great opportunity to become part of a cross-functional team responsible for many aspects of Red Hats experiential marketing and events.

What you will do:

  • Event Marketing & Support:

    • Support the strategy planning and execution of virtual and in-person proprietary events.

    • When applicable support industry events through event coordination while working closely with the event manager.

    • Support the creation of presentations present virtually/live to stakeholders

    • Use data analytics to recommend and drive program growth and

  • Data Analysis:

    • Support Summit data needs and system processes (i.e. VivaStream Rainfocus Red Hat Sales Cloud)

    • Create event and marketing tracking IDs in Salesforce .

    • Support events performance dashboard efforts.

    • Help to track and evaluate the performance of specific events.

    • When applicable support processes to share and socialize data throughout the company.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration:

    • Work closely with the broader events team legal sales and field marketing teams.

    • Collaborate with global cross-functional teams (product management marketing sales internal agency) to ensure event messaging and execution align with strategy.

What you will bring:

  • 1-3 years of experience in marketing events promotions or communications (technology experience is a plus).

  • Familiarity with event and marketing technology and marketing operation tools and tactics.

  • Familiarity with planning and executing marketing events.

  • Comfortable with data and data analysis with a desire to learn additional platforms and skills

  • Excellent written verbal and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Ability to support group discussions and meetings with cross-functional teams stakeholders and external vendors.

  • Extremely detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple work-streams simultaneously.

  • Self-starter team player and relationship builder.

  • Ability to travel up to 30% (domestic and international) including occasional nights and weekends.

  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with CRM and marketing tools (e.g. Salesforce Tableau Vivastream).

  • Proficiency with spreadsheets and data.

  • Strong writing skills for promotional emails and social content.

  • Customer-centric and user-experience focused.

  • Passion for processes and organization with some project management skills.

  • Creative visual and artistic for creative reviews and ideation.

  • Helpful willing to learn and positive attitude.

The salary range for this position is $62960.00 - $97540.00. Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.

Pay Transparency

Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location experience applicable skills and training external market value and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hats compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus commission and/or equity. For positions with Remote-US locations the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
