GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The Quality Management Coordinator (QMC) works under the supervision of the Chief Operations Officer (COO). The QMC will be responsible for performing a variety of encounter/service chart reviews on a regular basis to ensure program services are documented and reported addition this position will play a role in teaching/training staff regarding payer source requirements as related to chart reviews. The QMC will assist the Chief Operations Officer as needed with responsibilities related to Corporate Compliance Quality Management Planning Continuous Quality Improvement ADA planning and BH Utilization Management. The QMC will serve as chair of and will facilitate several of MHMRCVs standing committees. The QMC will manage the responsibilities associated with work assignments from these committees. Additional duties involve: utilization management administrative functions policy/procedure development and processing incident reports.
EDUCATION TRAINING and EXPERIENCE:
Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major course work in human services business or another related field is required. Two years of paid full-time related work experience is required. Knowledge of Mental Health Community Standards preferred. Experience writing complex business documents monitoring plans of improvement and data analysis is highly preferred.
