Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented QA Specialist with 35 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both manual and automated testing a deep understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC) and a passion for delivering high-quality products. You will work closely with development product and operations teams to ensure our solutions meet the highest standards

Responsibilities:

• Design develop and execute detailed test plans test cases and test scripts.
• Perform functional regression integration and system testing for web mobile windows and API applications.
• Identify record and track bugs thoroughly ensuring clear and actionable bug reports.
• Collaborate with developers product managers and other stakeholders to define quality standards and ensure alignment.
• Participate in requirements analysis offering a QA perspective early in the project lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain automated test suites using tools like Selenium Cypress or similar.
• Perform API testing using tools such as Postman SoapUI or Swagger.
• Contribute to performance and security testing initiatives.
• Analyze test results debug issues and provide detailed reports to management.
• Support deployment validation activities including smoke and sanity tests in production environments.
• Stay updated with the latest testing tools methodologies and industry trends

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
• 35 years of professional experience in a Quality Assurance or Software Testing role.
• Solid understanding of manual testing techniques and automation frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC Agile and DevOps methodologies.
• Experience with test management tools (e.g. Jira TFS etc.).
• Proficiency in at least one automation tool (e.g. Selenium Cypress).
• Hands-on experience in API testing and familiarity with RESTful services.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic understanding of databases and SQL queries

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in performance testing.
• Knowledge of security testing basics.
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS Azure) is a plus.
