At PwC our people in risk and compliance focus on maintaining regulatory compliance and managing risks for clients providing advice and solutions. They help organisations navigate complex regulatory landscapes and enhance their internal controls to mitigate risks effectively.

In regulatory risk compliance at PwC you will focus on confirming adherence to regulatory requirements and mitigating risks for clients. You will provide guidance on compliance strategies and help clients navigate complex regulatory landscapes.

What to consider before applying

  • This role is for a 8 month fixed term contract

  • This role requires the candidate to be fluent in English and Arabic

  • This role requires flexibility for the candidate to work Fridays (weekend is Saturday-Sunday)

Responsibilities

As a Panel Coordinator your responsibilities will include:

  • Adhering to our Consulting and Deals Risk & Quality Team budget

  • Support engagement teams with the R&Q acceptance process

  • Direct engagement teams to other R&Q Business Partners such as Independence Compliance etc for specialist advice

  • Organize and manage the panel process liaising with client facing teams panel chairs and R&Q representatives

  • Attend panel meetings

  • Writing up minutes and actions from panel meetings and share with relevant LoS R&Q Business Partner for review

  • Maintain a record of panel data

  • Prepare the panel reports (provide required data and input such as on Partner performance to other R&Q functions)

  • Build relationships with the Business Unit (BU) Partners and engagement teams

  • Consult and escalate to the Business Partner - Director and / or Senior Manager as necessary

  • Produce guidance templates and update policies and procedures as necessary in conjunction with the LoS R&Q Business Partners

  • Ensure compliance with the relevant PwC Network standards policies and procedures

  • Liaise with other functional areas of the business building cross-functional relationships

  • Provide support to xLos R&Q projects as needed

Responsibilities

  • Relevant and practical client facing experience preferably from the Professional Services industry

  • Hands on executive administrative experience

  • Ability to problem solve in a fast paced environment

  • Works well under pressure

  • Comfortable with project management

  • Thoroughness and eye for detail

  • Capable to manage their time and stay organized

  • Highly conscientious

  • Eager to take initiative
