THE ROLE
We are looking for a #TechTalent to work as a Risk & Control Analyst Liquidity Resolutionfor a national project.
YOUR DAY TO DAY
- Gain a thorough understanding of First Line of Defense (1LoD) production and control processes;
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of control plans and related procedures for liquidity resolution;
- Track and follow up on recommendations from internal and external control functions to address identified gaps;
- Apply a risk-based approach and carry out Second Line of Defense (2LoD) testing activities in collaboration with the stream lead;
- Produce summary reports and documentation to communicate control results to relevant stakeholders and governance bodies;
- Support the quarterly certification process for business lines;
- Coordinate with 2LoD teams across regions to gather insights on control effectiveness and data quality and provide constructive feedback when necessary;
- Work closely with 1LoD operational control teams and central oversight functions on reporting tools and methodologies;
- Assist the stream lead with various tasks including participation in control campaigns and reviewing certification documents.
WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in control finance or audit ideally within the banking and/or financial services sector;
- Strong expertise in accounting principles and practices;
- Solid understanding of financial accounting/reporting and operational risk;
- Flexibility to manage workload peaks including occasional weekend work and extended hours during closing periods in accordance with Bank policy;
- Fluency in English (written & spoken).
