Food Service Worker (Cashier/Dishwasher/Server)
Hours: 8:00am - 1:15pm
Step 1 $17.20 per hour
Responsible to: Kitchen Manager
Job Summary: Under the direction of the Kitchen Manager the Food Service Worker fulfills various tasks essential to the daily functioning of the Food Service program...
Responsibilities includes the following but not limited to:
- Collaborate as a team member by actively participating in food preparation and daily production of breakfast lunch snacks encompassing tasks such as prepping cooking serving cleaning and more.
- Prepare food according to the planned menu and standardized
- Serve accurate portions of each product in adherence to the National School Lunch and Breakfast Nutrition
- Understand and comply with the requirements of a reimbursable
- Assist in the daily cleaning of all kitchen areas including washing and sanitizing serving prepping and storage
- Keep accurate records as instructed including but not limited to Adults and Students without accounts in Point of Sale Production Records Temperature Logs and Cash
- Assist in cleaning kitchen and storage areas at intervals during the year as directed by the Kitchen
- Work efficiently and precisely under
- Adhere to all HACCP regulations for sanitation food handling and
- Email must be checked at a minimum once a
- Maintain positive working relations with colleagues demonstrating consideration patience respect and self-control.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Kitchen Manager or Food Service
- Report to the assigned school to substitute as needed or directed by the Food Service
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to lift cases up to 40 pounds and carry them to/from storage areas
- Prolonged standing and reaching
- Tolerance for variations in temperature including working in cold or hot
Qualifications:
- Serve Safe Certification is required obtainable within one year
- Allergen Training is required certification obtainable after
- CPR certification is required obtainable after
