Job Summary

This role involves leading client relationships by providing expert accounting guidance overseeing financial processes and ensuring timely and accurate deliverables. It requires strong collaboration within a team environment including mentoring supervising staff and improving operational efficiency. Additionally the position includes managing audits tax filings budgeting and client onboarding while identifying opportunities for service expansion and maintaining high-quality client service.

What youll do

  • You will lead client relationships by serving as the primary contact offering accounting guidance and ensuring deliverables are completed accurately and on time
  • You will oversee financial reporting audits tax filings and fee calculations ensuring compliance with fund documents and accounting policies
  • You are responsible for evaluating and improving financial processes managing client onboarding and aligning expectations using best practices
  • Youll manage billing monitor engagement economics supervise direct reports and identify opportunities to expand services across IQEQ segments
  • Youll foster a collaborative team environment through mentoring training and active participation in meetings and departmental initiatives

  • The salary for this position will be dependent on experience and location ($170000-$240000).

 


Qualifications :

  • You are located in San Francisco or Los Angeles CA metro areas 
  • You bring 15 years of experience in alternative investment management (hedge funds private equity venture capital or real estate) along with a bachelors degree in accounting and an active CPA license
  • You have deep expertise in fund accounting and financial reporting ideally with some in-house experience
  • You excel at managing multiple client engagements while maintaining strong attention to detail and multitasking effectively
  • Youre proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with tools like QuickBooks Expensify NetSuite and Sage
