Job Summary

The Rewards Lead is responsible for spearheading the compensation program in the Wealth and Asset Management (WAM) business in Asia and ensuring that rewards best practices are upheld and implemented. The position is accountable for providing updates on compensation trends within the industry and leading rewards project implementations to ensure the overall Rewards program is effective and market competitive. The role involves close collaboration with People Partners and the Rewards team across Asia to ensure the rewards practice and design align with local regulations and Corporate standard.

The role is an individual contributor and requires strong knowledge and analytical skills in the compensation and benefits area.

Position Responsibilities

Compensation Review

  • Work closely with country People Partners and Senior Leaders in reviewing the effectiveness of the compensation program. Analyze existing incentive schemes and level and ensure compliance with internal companys and applicable governments policies in its implementation.

  • Build strong network within the C&B community to stay current on updated market trends legal and regulatory changes and make recommendations for changes where appropriate.

  • Manage the annual total rewards survey job mapping and ensure appropriate benchmarks is provided for various job roles.

  • Ensure the annual and mid-year salary review processes are done according to schedule and meet Corporate and Regional Office guidelines.

  • Provide advice for any local or international mobility assignment.

Rewards Advisory

  • Act as a Rewards partner for WAM. Give advice to People Partners and people leaders for any rewards related matters.

  • Advise country People Partners in making appropriate business case for any proposal on rewards related changes.

  • Work with Talent Acquisition team on new hire compensation proposal and recommendations.

  • Provide guidance to Senior Leadership and People Partners in creating and revising compensation plan(s).

Project planning and Implementation:

  • Manage rewards related project plan and initiatives and give support for the program implementation.

  • Work closely with internal parties regional/corporate and external third party vendors to ensure the necessary resources support for the project implementation is ready and available.

Others:

  • Provide regular and ad hoc reports related to compensation program as required by internal regional/corporate or other relevant external authorities.

Required Qualifications

  • University degree and minimum 10-year experience in Compensation and Benefits area.

  • Experience in incentive design in the Wealth and Asset Management industry is preferrable.

  • Ability to prioritize manage and accomplish projects independently and proactively.

  • Good communication and consultation skills to work with the People team and Senior Leaders to build rapport collaborate and recommend solutions.

  • Strong MS Excel skills are valuable as well as proficiency in data analytics.
